PESHAWAR, July 8: The Khyber Union of Journalists on Tuesday established a one-day strike camp in front of the Peshawar Press Club to protest against the delay in the hearing of the seventh Wage Award case by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Provincial Information Minister Asif Iqbal Daudzai, Awami National Party (ANP)’s parliamentary leader in the NWFP Assembly Bashir Ahmad Bilour, ANP’s central vice-president Haji Mohammad Adeel, and Peshawar district president of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, Hakim Abdul Wahid, visited the camp and extended their support to the journalists.
