Young Civil Quarters win
PESHAWAR, July 3: Young Civil Quarters defeated Bana Marri Club 3-1 in the Peshawar District Hockey Championship being played here at S.M. Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium on Thursday.
Left winger Mushtaq Ahmed stunned Young Civil Quarters by giving Bana Marri Club the lead in the ninth minute on field attempt.
Kashif Islam levelled the score in the 22nd minute and Inayat Ullah put his side 2-1 ahead after fed by right winer Alamzeb before half time.
Substitute Jalil Ahmed sealed the fate of the match with a well- struck goal.—APP
