KARACHI, June 29: The workers of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), Sindh chapter, on Sunday, staged a protest rally outside the Karachi Press Club, demanding end to victimisation of Sharif family.

The participants of the rally, who were holding banners against the deportation of members of Sharif family and posters of Nawaz Sharif, were led by Mamnoon Hussain, Salim Zia, Perveen Bashir, Nehal Hashmi and others.

Meanwhile, the vice-president of the PML (N), Mian Ejaz Shafi, has condemned the orders for deportation of the family of PML(N) President Mian Shahbaz Sharif.

Speaking at a party worker’s meeting, he said that the rulers, who had made the entire 140 million population hostage on gunpoint, were afraid of an unarmed housewife. He urged the higher judiciary to take notice of the forced exile of Pakistani citizens.
