KARACHI: FIR against UC Nazim

KARACHI, June 27: Police have registered a case against a Union Council Nazim for allegedly encroaching upon a piece of land in Gutter Baghicha, Pak Colony.

Police have booked Talib Brohi, Nazim of UC-3 of SITE Town in FIR No 107/2003 on the complaint of DDO Revenue SITE Town, Salman Akhtar Afridi.

According to the FIR, a team of city government representatives went to remove encroachment on 50-acre land of Gutter Baghicha, where Talib Brohi along with his associates allegedly harassed the team and opened fire in the air.

They allegedly threatened the city government officials of dire consequences if the encroachment was removed. However, no arrest has been made so far in this respect.
