PESHAWAR, June 21: Water and Power Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao has said the tussle between the district governments and the provincial government will badly affect the development work.

He was speaking to Tehsil and union council Nazims of Charsadda district at the People’s House here on Saturday, according to an official statement.

He said district governments had done a lot of development work during the past two years and they needed support from provincial and federal governments for timely execution of work. The minister assured the Nazims of federal government’s support and expressed the hope that differences between the district and the provincial government would be resolved.
