PESHAWAR, June 16: Ghazi Khan, a prominent khudai khidmatgar of Pabbi died after a protracted illness here on Sunday. He was 90.

The deceased was laid to rest on Sunday morning at his ancestral graveyard in Pabbi. A large number of people attended the funeral.

Ghazi Khan is survived by his sons Asif Ali, Ashraf Ali and Maqsood Ali. Pabbi press club’s General Secretary Abbas Khan is his grandson.

Those who attended the funeral were central leader of Awami National Party, Ajmal Khan Khattak, former NWFP assembly speaker, Hidayatullah Khan Chamkani, former provincial minister, Fareed Toofan and former MPA, Mian Iftikhar Hussain.

The deceased was a close associate of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan. His brother, Late Usman Khan, was the founder of khudai khidmatgar movement in Pabbi town.
