KARACHI: Faith-healer killed

KARACHI, June 11: A faith-healer, Allah Noor, was allegedly murdered by one of his disciples late on Tuesday night in North Karachi.

Police said victim’s body was found in a gunny bag in the limits of Khawaja Ajmair Nagri.

Police said the body was chopped off into five pieces, and was shifted to the Abbasi Hospital for postmortem.

Police claimed that they have arrested the suspect identified as Mansoor Alam, soon after finding the body in the gunny bag.

Police said that Mansoor owed some money to Allah Noor. He chopped off the body of the faith-healer into five pieces and dumped it at a derelict place.

MURDER: A 30-year-old housewife, who became victim of domestic violence, scummed to her head injury at the JPMC late Tuesday night.

According to reports, Hameed a police constable, posted at the special branch, hit his wife with a blunt weapon in his house in Model Colony late Monday night.

The woman, who received injuries to her head, was shifted to the JPMC where she died later.

Police claimed to have arrested the victim’s husband.

Meanwhile, an unidentified body of a young man was recovered from the sea on Wednesday.
