LRC may close for six weeks
LAHORE, June 7: The Lahore Race Club (LRC) is considering a proposal put forth by some race lovers that in view of the scorching summer heat races be stopped for six weeks.
Before taking a final decision, the LRC has decided to take all race-goers into confidence and invited their suggestions in this connection.
A questionaire would be issued to all race fans while entering the club on Sunday as to whether they favoured closure of races for six weeks or not. A decision would be taken following race-goers’ response. —A.G.
