KARACHI: LFO opposed

KARACHI, June 6: All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA) has alleged that the policies of government have completely failed and demanded that former prime ministers Ms Benazir Bhutto and Mr Nawaz Sharif should be allowed to return and play their role in national politics.

Speaking at a news conference on Friday, the APMA leaders, Saleem Khursheed Khokhar and Michael Javed rejected the Legal Framework Order and maintained that they believed in superiority of the parliament.

“We support opposition parties in their struggle against LFO and pledge that minorities would be the first to participate in any campaign against the government and LFO,” they added.— PPI
