Fate of D-12 to be decided soon

ISLAMABAD, June 3: Capital Development Authority (CDA) will decide the fate of sector D-12 in its next board meeting.

The decision was taken in the board meeting here on Tuesday. The meeting was presided over by the CDA chairman, Chaudhry Abdul Rauf.

The CDA chairman directed the officials concerned to invite villagers of Sri Saral and Pind Sangrial in the next board meeting so that the final decision regarding development of sector D- 12 could be taken and the development work could be started amicably.

The board meeting decided to hire a consultant for laying a network of sewerage system at Model Village Hummak.

The meeting was informed that the residents of the area were facing several problems like water shortage, dilapidated condition of streets and roads, poor sanitation system, lack of streetlights and non-availability of playgrounds.

The meeting turned down a plea filed for the wavier of extension charges for the owners of plots allocated for automobile workshops.
