KARACHI, June 2: Sindh President of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, Asadullah Bhutto, has said that the MMA considers Legal Framework Order (LFO) against the nation and the country while opposition parties were striving for the supremacy of constitution and the parliament.

Speaking at a seminar on the “Legal Framework Order”, MNA Asadullah Bhutto traced the history of challenges to the parliament and the constitution from the inception of Pakistan.

The JI Karachi chief, Dr Mairaj-ul-Huda Siddiqui, addressing party workers at Idara Noor-i-Haq said that MMA stand on the LFO was not only principled, but also in accordance with the constitution and the law as an individual was not authorised to amend the constitution.

Referring to the NWFP, he said that the MMA government there was a manifestation of the sentiments of people and their aspirations.
