Oil prices up

LONDON, May 30: Oil prices crept higher on Friday as traders remained concerned about the possibility of a squeeze on gasoline supplies during the US vacation period.

The price of reference Brent North Sea crude oil for July delivery rose 31 cents per barrel to $26.34 in late trading here.

New York’s benchmark light sweet crude July contract gained 35 cents to $29.45 per barrel in early deals.—AFP
