PESHAWAR, May 8: A tree pruning campaign has resulted in uprooting and cutting of exquisite trees at the Peshawar University, shows a survey.
Seventeen unique and old trees along Geography to Botany departments have been cut down, says Abdul Hadi, an M.Sc student of Botany department.
Having denuded hills and forests in the NWFP, the rapacious timber industry has now set its eyes on the remaining flora and greenery of Peshawar.
