KARACHI: Committees to hire teachers for Middle School Project

KARACHI, May 8: The Sindh Middle School Project authorities have formed 16 recruitment committees to finalize the selection of over 1100 trained and qualified teachers for 179 middle schools established in the 16 defunct districts of Sindh, with the financial assistance of the Asian Development Bank.

The project authorities hired the services of the College of Business Management to conduct tests for the recruitment of teachers.

An official of the project, Mrs Talat Jaskani, informed that about 6000 aspiring candidates had been short-listed for interviews and the recruitment committees would finalize the selection of the teaching staff.

“The process of recruitment will hopefully be finalized by the end of July,” she said.—PPI
