1.7kg heroin seized

LAHORE, May 7: Two foreigners were arrested with 1.7kg heroin, Customs anti-smuggling drug enforcement cell said on Wednesday.

Ms Aissatou Diallo of Guiana (passport No 294846) and Mareo Verge of Liberia (passport No 046298) were arrested from the Lahore airport when they were attempting to board Karachi-bound flight PK-309.

Official sources told APP the heroin was recovered from the stomachs of the accused in the shape of capsules at the Services Hospital.—APP
