ISLAMABAD, April 29: Judicial Magistrate Chaudhry Mumtaz Hussain on Tuesday awarded 10-year rigorous imprisonment (RI) to a person in a fraud case.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs1,000 on the convict Muhammad Raza Ali. In case of default, the convict would have to undergo another one-month RI. Kohsar police had arrested the accused last year and charged him with involvement in a fraud case.
The same court also awarded 3-year rigorous imprisonment (RI) to a person for involvement in a theft and illicit arms case. The court also imposed a fine of Rs300 on the convict Tahir Mahmood.
