RAWALPINDI, April 28: Pakistan International Airlines’ Birmingham-bound flight PK-791 made an emergency landing at Moscow airport on Monday after developing a technical fault.

PIA general manager Imran Gardezi, talking to this reporter, said the flight originating from Islamabad landed at Moscow after one of its engines stalled.

The A-310 aircraft was carrying over 150 passengers and crew members on board. The flight departed at 10:30am.

Mr Gardezi said all passengers were safe and had been accommodated at a Moscow hotel by the airline for an overnight stay.— Staff Reporter
