ISLAMABAD, April 27: The Meteorological Department has forecast mainly hot and dry weather throughout the country while isolated rain is likely to occur in Kashmir and adjoining areas on Monday.
The weather will remain partly cloudy at Islamabad, Lahore, Muzaffarabad, Murree and Gilgit, while it is likely to be very hot and dry in Karachi and Peshawar and Quetta.
The Met office on Sunday said that during the last 24 hours, isolated rain occurred in Kashmir and Northern Areas.
Scattered clouds in Northern Areas has been predicted for Monday.
The maximum temperatures recorded on Sunday were 44 degree Celsius at Nawabshah and Hyderabad, while it was 33 at Islamabad, 35 at Lahore, 42 at Karachi, 35 at Peshawar, 30 at Quetta, 27 at Muzaffarabad, 20 at Murree, 38 at Multan, 35 at Faisalabad, 37 at Sargodha and 25 at Gilgit.—APP
