KARACHI, April 27: Speakers at a conference on Sunday recalled the scholarly contribution of Imam Ahmad Raza, and urged the Muslims to carry out research in various fields as this was the only way to achieve our lost glory.

The conference, organized by the Idara-i-Tahqeeqat-i-Imam Ahmad Raza International, discussed various aspects of life and teachings of Imam Ahmad Raza.

Those who spoke included Sindh Home Minister Syed Sardar Ahmad, Dr Pirzada Qasim Siddiqui, Justice Syed Atiq-ur-Rehman, Sahibzada Syed Wajahat Rasool, Maulana Manzoor Saeedi and Shah Turabul Haque.

Dr Hazim Mohammad Ahmad Al-Mehfooz, a scholar from Al-Azhar University, disclosed that many Arab scholars had been working on different aspects of his research and recently four books had been published in Egypt about his personality and his services to the Ummah.
