2 PPP leaders not allowed to visit abroad

KARACHI, April 26: Two leaders of Pakistan People’s Party could not proceed to Dubai to participate in the central executive committee meeting of the party summoned by its chairperson Benazir Bhutto.

Mir Baz Khan Khetran, a former minister and leader from Balochistan told Dawn that Pakistan People’s Party Secretary-General Jehangir Badr and Yousuf Raza Gilani could not proceed to Dubai as the interior ministry did not give them permission to go abroad. He said they had the tickets but were not issued the no objection certificate.
