Akram Lahori sentenced to death

KARACHI, April 26: An anti-terrorism court sentenced here on Saturday the chief of the banned Lashkar-i-Jhangvi and his two associates to death for three times on three counts of sectarian murders.

The ATC-5 judge, conducting the trial inside the Central Prison, Karachi, handed down the capital punishment for two times to Mian Mohammed Ajmal, better known as Akram Lahori, Mohammed Azam alias Sharif and Attaullah alias Qasim in a double murder case.

The judge sentenced the three to death in a separate case also.
