KARACHI, April 25: Tanzeem Sports and Phool Patti Star (PPS) moved into the last 16 stage of City Zone-IV South Football Championship after they won their matches on penalty shoot-out at Peoples Stadium here Thursday.

Tanzeem Sports defeated Shafi Muhammadan 5-4 on penalty shoot-out after their match ended in 2-2 draw.

PPS beat Sindh Baloch Club (SBC) 4-2 after their match ended in a 1-1 stalemate. Imran scored for SBC and Taj Muhammad draw level for PPC.

In another match Young Muhammadi beat Baloch Fighters 3-2. However Baloch fighters manager Essa Khan lodged a protest against Akhtar for double registration.

Tournament committee will decide the fate of the match after meeting.—APP
