Kabul claims Taliban criminals in Pakistan


KABUL, April 24: Top Taliban leaders wanted for crimes in Afghanistan are believed to be in Pakistan, Afghan Foreign Minister Abdullah Abdullah said on Thursday.

“They are believed to be there,” Mr Abdullah replied when asked whether the Taliban fighters, whose names were submitted to Islamabad this week by the Afghan president, were hiding out in Pakistan. Kabul had asked Islamabad to hand them over as they were trying to destabilize Afghanistan.—AFP
