Nawalane Star in last 16
KARACHI, April 24: Nawalane Star and Young Hilal entered the last 16 stage of City Zone-IV South Football Championship after contrasting victories on Wednesday.
Nawalane Star defeated Phool Patti Baloch (PPB) 5-4 on penalty shoot out after 1-1 draw in regulation time. After barren first session Sadiq scored for Nawalane Star soon after resumption. Ghulam Ali equalized for PPB on combined move with Ubaidullah late in the second half.
In the other match Young Hilal whipped Eidoolane Muhammadan 2-0. Ghulam Nabi and Zain-ul-Abideen slammed one goal each.—APP
