LARKANA, April 24: The medical superintendent of the Chandka Medical College Hospital, Larkana, has demanded an increase in the budgetary allocations for the hospital.
Talking to Dawn here on Thursday, medical superintendent Dr Syed Mehboob Shah said the relevant quarters had been contacted several times for an increase in the budget but the hospital was still not getting the required amount.
He said the Liaquat Medical College Hospital and the People’s Medical College Hospital were getting higher amounts.
He said the 1,230-bed CMCH received Rs13,581,400, 1,200-bed Liaquat Medical College received Rs42,103,000 and the 750-bed People’s Medical College received Rs15,181,500 per year.
