KARACHI, April 23: The Two-day trials to select probables for the qualifying rounds of the Women’s Cricket World Cup concluded here at the National Stadium Wednesday.

Apart from 26 ladies appearing on the first day, five more girls reported for trials on the second day. Ex-Test cricketer Imtiaz Ahmed supervised the trials.

Former Test all-rounder Ijaz Faqih was unable to conduct the trials because of preoccupation with his job.

Imtiaz will on Thursday proceed to Quetta for another round of trials.

In the meantime Imtiaz has recommended to the Pakistan Board (PCB) that girls which appeared in the trials at Karachi should be given net facilities at NSK for further improving their skill.—APP
