RAWALPINDI, April 23: Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions martyred at Karbala was observed with solemnity and devotion on Wednesday.

Ulema and Zakireen, while speaking at various Majalis and processions, paid tributes to the family of the Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him). Tazia, Zuljinnah and Alam processions were taken out from different parts of the city.

The main Zuljinnah, Alam and Tazia processions were taken out from Imambargah Col Maqbool Hussain, College Road, and Imambargah Hifazat Ali Shah, Bohar Bazaar.

The Zuljinnah processions taken out from Imambargah Ashiq Hussain, Teli Mohallah, Darbar Shah Chan Chiragh, and Imambargah Kashmirian, Tyre Bazaar, also joined the main procession.
