Three killed

MINGORA, April 21: Police killed a man in a encounter on Sunday after he had shot dead two people in Dherai village of the Khwazakhela Tehsil.

A proclaimed offender, Hassan Dar, son of Mohammad Dost, resident of Dherai, shot dead Nasrullah and his father Said Karim on their refusal to pay extortion.

The Charbagh police later shot the accused dead in an encounter near the village.

In a raid, the police seized 3,000 liters of liquor from the house of Fazal Qadir and demolished his house.
