RAWALPINDI, April 21: The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) on Monday launched a new sanitation service, designed specially for overpopulated and congested areas.
The new service was launched in a ceremony, held at the RCB office, by station commander Brig Hamid Khalil and Executive Officer Kh Iftikhar Mir.
Under the scheme, 10 Chingchi rickshaws would be operated in areas where big vehicles cannot enter to collect garbage. These areas include Mareer Hassan, Tench Bhata, Allama Iqbal Colony and Afshan Colony.
