Ahmadis’ Imam passes away

LAHORE, April 19: The Imam of the Jamaat, Ahmadia Alamgir Mirza Tahir Ahmad, died in London on Saturday. He was 74.

According to a press release issued here by the Anjuman-i-Ahmadia Pakistan, he was the fourth imam of the Jamaat-i-Ahmadia.

He was born in 1928 in Qadian in India and did his graduation from the Government College, Lahore. He moved to London in 1982.

During his leadership, Ahmadia TV channel MTI International was launched. He had a number of books to his credit. He was also a dedicated homeopath.
