LAHORE, April 18: The NWFP Chief Minister Muhammad Akram Khan Durrani has invited the chief ministers of Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan to Peshawar to discuss inter-provincial issues.
“The discussion will not be an exercise in futile,” he added.
He was speaking at a meeting held in connection with the 65th death anniversary of Allama Iqbal here on Friday.
Durrani said that the strengthening of relations between the provinces was the need of the hour. All four provinces were federal units whose progress was linked to the prosperity of the country. Thus the development of both the federation and its units was interdependent.
