Clarification
ISLAMABAD, April 18: Apropos “Government decides not to raise power tariff” appeared in Dawn on April 15, a spokesman for the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) said no official from the finance ministry had approached Nepra on the determination of Automatic Tariff Adjustment (ATA) for ex-Wapda companies.
The Dawn Staff Reporter stands by his report that was based on background interviews with a finance ministry and two senior Nepra officials.
