Govt working for minorities welfare: Rashid
RAWALPINDI, April 18: Minister for Information and Media Development Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said minorities, especially the Christians, have full religious freedom and these are contributing a lot towards the uplift of the country.
Speaking at the Good Friday ceremony at Independent Church in Saddar, the minister assured the Christians that the government would take further steps for the welfare and uplift of minorities in the country.
Rev Davis S. Roberts said peace was imperative for entire humanity.—APP
