HYDERABAD, April 18: The annual examinations, 2002, of BEd and MEd, off campus programme of the Sindh University will begin on May 19.

This was announced by the controller of examinations, University of Sindh, on Friday.

The university has set up the examination center for the candidates of Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas and Tando Mohammad Khan at Dr.N.A. Baloch Model School, Hyderabad.

The candidates of Thatta will appear at the centre of the Government Boys High School, Thatta; those of Badin at the Government Higher Secondary School, Badin; those of Malir (Karachi) at the Government Primary School, Ghazi Brohi Village, Bakra Piri Road, Malir, Karachi; those of Shahdadpur at the Government Degree College, Shahdadpur; and the candidates of Nawabshah will appear at the D.C. Secondary School, Nawabshah.

ADMISSIONS: The director, admissions, University of Sindh, has extended the date for submission of admission forms to MSc, Environmental Sciences, to May 5.

The admission forms are available at the Habib Bank, Old Campus, Hyderabad, and Jamshoro branches on the payment of prescribed form fee.

LUMHS: The director, human resources, Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, announced on Friday that the interviews for the posts of professors and associate professors in Basic and Clinical Medical Sciences would be conducted on April 21 at 10am in the committee room of the LUMHS, Jamshoro.

MUET: The controller of examinations, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, has notified for the information of concerned students of the Hyderabad Institute of Arts, Science and Technology that their regular examinations of MS (BIT) of first semester, first year, second batch, would be held from April 26 from 6pm to 9pm at the institute.

SAU: The governor of Sindh and chancellor of Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam, has appointed Professor Amir Ali Qadri of the English department as the dean, faculty of Social Sciences, SAU, for three years.
