LARKANA, April 17: Protesting against the liquidation of the Shahdadkot Textile Mills, a group of 50 labourers observed a token hunger strike here at Jinnah Bagh on Thursday.
They were demanding of the government to make the mill operational instead of selling it at a throwaway price.
They said that their protest would continue till the acceptance of their demand.
Those who observed hunger strike were led by vice-president of the mill workers’ union Murtaza Jamali and included Ghulam Rasool Umrani, and Mohammed Bakhsh Kumbhar.
