Unique feat by Omair
KARACHI, April 14: Teenager golfer Omair Javed performed the unique feat of hole-in-one in the Shell Golf Tournament at Arabian Sea Country Club on Sunday.
Omair of DHA Club, scored hole-in-one on hole number 13, considered as the most difficult Par 3 of the course.
The feat helped Omair to secure second spot behind Waseem Rana with difference of just one stroke in amateur event with Arif Murtuza finishing third with score of 76.
Omair, however, won the under-18 gross event with Inamullah Abdullah of Karachi Golf Club finishing runner-up.
Ahmad Jameel Siddiqui of ASCC won the amateur net event with score of 68 followed by Uzair Tehsin and Major Tahir.
130 golfers took part in different categories of the one- day event.—APP
