MARDAN, April 14: A gangster and an inter-provincial carjacker, Luqman alias Malangey, was found dead in a deserted house behind Bilal mosque on the Mardan-Malakand Road on Sunday morning.

Luqman, 45, a resident of Mahub Banda, was wanted to police in four provinces of the country for carjacking. He was arrested many times, but released due to his influence and wealth.

Police suspected he was tortured to death as many bones of his body were broken. A case was registered against killers and the body was returned to relatives after the postmortem.
