BEIJING, April 14: China’s economy grew 9.9 percent from a year ago in the first quarter, the country’s highest growth rate in six years, state press reported on Monday. China’s industrial output rose 17.2pc for the same period, the Economic Observer said, citing figures to be officially released Thursday.—AFP
