LAHORE, April 13: Yasir Butt of Punjab, No 12 seed upset second seed Khalid Atlas (PAF) in straight games to enter the under-19 semifinal of the Faysal Bank national junior (boys/girls) squash championship at the Punjab Squash Complex on Sunday.

Yasir a promising player earned victory with a score of 10- 8, 10-8, 9-3.

Yasir struggled hard in the first two games which lasted for 30 minutes each. However, he led from start to finish but faced a good chase from Khalid, a member of Pakistan team which won the World Junior championship in Chennai, India recently. The match went on for 73 minutes.

In the girls Under-19 section, Misbah Rani and Sara Awan entered  the final after winning their  quarterfinals  and semifinals on Sunday.
