LAHORE, April 11: Three people, including a teenage boy, were found dead in different parts of the city on Friday.

Shopkeeper Ishtiaq left his business in Islampura with a girl who visited him and stayed with him for around an hour on Thursday, the police quoted neighbouring shopkeepers as saying.

An unattended wooden box was found in the same locality on Friday evening and the body of the shopkeeper was found stuffed in it when the police broke it open.

Police said his throat was slit open besides his moustache and head had been half shaven.

The body was sent to the city mortuary for autopsy.

Abid Majeed, 40, a resident of Sialkot, was found dead from the room of a hotel on the Lower Mall on Friday, a day after he was checked in.

The hotel administration rang up the police when they found no response from the room. The police broke open the door and found his body in the bed. He had been stabbed, they said.

The 14-year-old Chand Khan, a resident of Badami Bagh, was found dead along Ravi Road. Strangulation marks were found around his neck.

KILLING: Meanwhile, Nasim, 35, left her house in Shadbagh to fetch medicines for her father when two motorcyclists intercepted her.

They opened fire on her and escaped.

The police removed the body to city mortuary.
