KARACHI, April 11: Pakistani manufacturers participating in the Interstoff Asia Spring 2003, Hong Kong, have a successful show and managed to book a large number of orders from buyers.

Leading manufacturers and exporters of fabrics from Pakistan display their products at the fair. Despite the outbreak of SARS virus the fair went ahead especially because of critical buying period for garment fabric industry.

A participant on his return said that Interstoff Asia Spring was the place where new varieties/ collections are displayed as this was such a big market for meeting world buyers.

He suggested that more exporters should participate in such international events to promote Pakistani textile products. The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) has organized the stand at the Interstoff Asia Spring 2003, where Pakistani exporters and manufacturers display their products.
