WASHINGTON, April 10: Syria has been “behaving badly” on the sidelines of the Iraq invasion, but while US officials are monitoring the situation closely, military intervention was not anticipated, US Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz said on Thursday.
“The Syrians are behaving badly, they need to be reminded of that and if they continue we need to think about our what our policy is,” Mr Wolfowitz told the US Senate Armed Services Committee.—AFP
