KARACHI, April 8: Sindh Chief Minister Sardar Ali Muhammad Mahar has said the government’s first priority was to spread information technology in the province.
He said this at a briefing at the Sindh Secretariat on Tuesday.
The chief minister said that Sindh government was connecting all the educational institutions and government departments of the province through networking.
He said that computer instructors would be appointed soon in those colleges where computer labs existed. He said that young people having computer knowledge and typing skill would be preferred for appointment of clerical staff. Earlier, provincial secretary for information technology, Yahya Waliullah, said that computer training programme for government employees was in full swing.—PPI
