SUKKUR, April 3: A case has been registered against 35 outlaws, including 10 unidentified persons, allegedly involved in the Kashmor killings, in which 15 persons were killed on Monday.
The case was registered on Thursday at the Kashmor police station under Sections 396, 302, 353, 305, 306, 429 and 324 of the PPC.
Surprisingly, the case was registered on the complaint of Mohammed Adam Mazari, son of Sohrab Mazari, who was killed in the incident.
The DPO, Jacobabad, Din Mohammed Baloch, and the DIG, operation, Sukkur Range, Ramzan Channa, were not available for comments in this regard.
The SHO of the Kashmor police station was unable to explain when this correspondent asked why the case was registered on the complaint of an individual. However, he said that the complainant had lodged a joint FIR regarding the killings and the kidnapping of nine persons.
He said that the police’s legal experts had viewed that the case should be registered by the relatives of the deceased on behalf of Adam Mazari.
Most of the outlaws, who were booked, belonged to the Bugti tribe, and included Illahi Bakhsh, Mohammed Bakhsh, Karam Khan, Mian Khan, Ali Nawaz, Qamaruddin, Noor Mohammed, Noor Hassan, Chelo Khan, Bagh Ali, Azam, Ahmed, Noker, Khuda Bakhsh, Braho, Bango, Shah Nawaz, Abad, Rano, Shero, Shah Murad, Shamo, Muharram Ali and Lal Khan.
TWO DIE: Two people died and two others fell unconscious after taking a poisonous liquor in Old Sukkur on Thursday.
Dhamu Shaikh and Irshad Chandio died on the way to hospital after taking poisonous liquor and Sharif Chandio and Papoo were admitted to a Larkana hospital in unconscious condition.
