Women urged to work for rights

RAWALPINDI, March 31: The Arid Agriculture University Syndicate member, Begum Shamim Alam Khan, has called upon the women to work with dedication so that they could raise their voices effectively for acquiring their rights.

She expressed these views as a chief guest at a ceremony held in connection with distribution of short courses certificates to the women.

About 50 participants were given certifies who completed short courses of computer application and English language. The university vice-chancellor, Dr Khalid Mehmood, and women division director, Nuzhat Matloob, also spoke on the occasion.
