Karachi, March 20: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad visited different parts of the city last night, mixed with people freely and inquired about their problems.

The people gathered around him and were happy to find the governor among them without any protocol, a handout said on Thursday.During his surprise visit he inspected the Ferozabad and Shah Faisal police stations and Sindh Government Hospital, Liaquatabad.

During an informal chat with the people he said that he was paying visits in order to assess the facilities available to the public and to know about the hardships being faced by them.

He took notice of certain irregularities, lack of cleanliness and poor maintenance of record in the police stations. He also expressed concern over keeping women under detention in Ferozabad police station.—PPI
