Three women abducted

OKARA, March 5: Three women were abducted in different incidents on Wednesday in the district.

Mustafah, Abbas, Ishaq, Habiban Bibi and Kaneez kidnapped from the fields Mst Mumtaz Bibi (18) of Mauza Joyia village.

Bushra was abducted from her house in the absence of her husband by PCO owner Abdul Ghaffar in Afzal Colony, Deepalpur. He also took away cash and jewellery.

Allah Mahi, Allah Rakha, Qadir Bux, Atta Muhammad and Hameeda Bibi took away Perveen of Kot Bodla, Deepalpur, in a wagon when she was on her way home. The parents of Perveen had refused to give her hand to Atta.

Police have registered separate cases.

DEPRIVED: The recovery officer of a local bank, Muhammad Yousaf, was deprived of his motorcycle (OKB-9589) by three armed robbers near Sohag Canal.

Basirpur police have registered a case.
