Six die in road crash

MULTAN, Feb 23: Six people, including five of a family, were killed and 21 others were injured in a road accident near Khanewal on Sunday.

The family was returning to Chichawatni in a wagon (LIT-3575) from Duniapur after attending a wedding. When they reached near the Khanewal bypass some 50 kilometres from here, it skidded and collided with a bus (LHP-464) headed for Khanewal from Mian Channu.

The names of the six who died on the spot are: Muhammad Mansha, 55; Nanni, 30; Fatima, 4; Hasan, 3; Ali, 5; and Ghulam Shabbir (conductor), 25.
