Man killed
KARACHI, Feb 7: A man was killed and another injured at the residence of the former member of the provincial assembly from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Afzal Muneef, in Defence Housing Authority.
Police arrested one of the alleged killers, identified as Francis alias Farrukh at the spot in Khayaban-i-Hafiz. Farrukh told the police that he along with Mohammad Farooq, son of Afzal Muneef, plotted to kill Afzal Muneef’s family and his servants.
Francis confessed to having killed the servant Daud Zia and injured the cook Iqbal. In the meantime, Madadgar 15 was called and the police reached the spot.
