Qazi calls on Jamali

ISLAMABAD, Feb 5: The Amir of Jamaat-i-Islami and member of National Assembly, Qazi Hussain Ahmed, called on Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali at the PM House here on Wednesday night and discussed with him wide-range of political and regional issues.

The two leaders agreed that for the continuation and strengthening of democracy it was important that the present Parliament should complete its tenure.

The issue of formation of committees in the National Assembly also came under discussion. It was agreed that the standing committees would be soon constituted in which opposition will also be accorded due representation.
